He began holding a brush at the age of 8. He is the only artist in the world recognized as the "World Peace Artist" and, driven by a deep desire for global peace and the reunification of the Korean Peninsula, has spent 30 years since 1993 recording the cultures and historical contents of various countries worldwide. By integrating Hangeul calligraphy, art, maps, and surveying, he completed the "World Peace Map" series, featuring works from 41 countries, which earned him the Guinness World Record certification. In 2008, through the South Korean Mission to the United Nations, his works were recognized for their symbolic value in promoting world peace. His works were donated to 22 UN member states, including the United States, United Kingdom, China, Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Norway, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Sweden, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Israel, Mongolia, Poland, Finland, and the South Korean Mission, where they are permanently exhibited and stored.
