劍巖ㅡ 칼바위, 90*60cm-순지에 수묵담채-2024
달래강을 끼고 낮지만 위엄을 갖춘 劍巖(칼바위)는 수주팔봉을 빛내는 백미이다.
관광의 효과를 높이고 관람객의 편의를 위해 놓여진 출렁다리를 없애고 부감의 구도로 검암을 재구성하니 훨씬 신선함이 더 다가온다.
물 맛 좋기로 전국에서 제일인 이곳 달강과 검암 그리고 병풍처럼 둘려진 팔봉의 운치가 어울려 명당을 이룬 수주팔봉의 한 여름의 추억을 재구성하여 표현했다.

Gyeomam (Sword Rock), standing along the Dallae River, though low, possesses a dignified presence and is the highlight of the Saju Eight Peaks. To enhance the effect of tourism and improve the convenience for visitors, I removed the suspension bridge and reconstructed the composition of Gyeomam from a bird’s-eye view, bringing a much fresher perspective. The pleasant taste of the water, the beauty of Gyeomam, and the picturesque scenery of the eight peaks surrounding it, like a folding screen, create a perfect harmony. This work reimagines and expresses the memories of a midsummer day at Saju Eight Peaks.

수암 박경호의 작품은 전통적인 수묵화 기법을 현대적인 방식으로 풀어내며, 이로써 전통을 존중하면서도 자연과 인간의 깊은 관계를 탐구합니다. 그의 작품은 단순한 풍경화가 아닌, 인간과 자연의 상호 연결을 상징적으로 표현하고, 안정과 치유의 메시지를 담고 있습니다.
순지에 담긴 은은한 마음의 안정을 담은 화법, 수묵담채 화법의 색채의 조화와 섬세한 붓터치로 전통과 현대를 아우르는 예술적 깊이를 전달하며, 한국 화법의 현대적 진화를 보여줍니다.

The works of Suam Park Kyungho reinterpret traditional ink painting techniques in a modern way, respecting tradition while exploring the profound relationship between nature and humanity. His works are not mere landscapes but symbolically express the interconnectedness of humans and nature, conveying messages of stability and healing. Through his delicate brushstrokes and the harmonious use of color in the traditional ink and color technique on hanji, his works bridge tradition and modernity, presenting the contemporary evolution of Korean painting.
